On this evening I had been driving around trying to find a good location to shoot a dramatic evening thunderstorm. The first location was too windy for longer exposures and the second didn't have many flowers blooming. Then I began chasing a rainbow and lightning only to have them fade before I could set up my camera. As the clouds parted and the sun began to sink below the hills I finally pulled over, jumped a fence and ran up a hill to catch this photo right before the light was gone. Then it started to rain.
