Going To The Sun Print, Glacier National Park, Montana
Sometimes the sky is so exhilarating it takes your breath away. These majestic mountains, giant feather clouds and the thick, creeping fog made for a picture perfect combination. I took this image on a 2008 trip to Glacier National Park, Montana. This area is along the historic Going to the Sun Road and looks back down the west side of the divide. Constructed in 1932, the road is the main parkway through Glacier and travels over Logan Pass which can receive up to 80 feet of snow in the winter. The road is so narrow and winding in places that vehicles longer than 21 feet are restricted from travel.
