Aspens are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. The vivid bark patterns and tightly spaced growth are nature's lure for me. The foliage is interesting no matter the season but fall is an especially fine time to capture the vibrancy of these trees. Last Dollar Road, more like a path, outside Telluride, Colorado in the San Juan Mountains invites a hike in the woods.
