Aspens are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. The vivid bark patterns and tightly spaced growth are nature's lure for me. These trees, on a late fall day in Telluride, Colorado are striking against their bountious carpet of yellow leaves. This day was all about subdued light, amazing patterns and perfect shadows.
