Shasta Nightfall Print Shasta Valley, California

Many elements came together to create this photo. The full moon aligned over the summit of Mt. Shasta on a clear evening with Indian paintbrush blooming in the dry grasslands below Mt. Shasta happens one day a year at most. Due to the low light conditions a fill flash was used to help illuminate the flowers.
