This is one of my favorite shots of Ama Dablam which is in the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Ama Dablam's strikingly beautiful symmetry is easily identifiable to trekkers in the Khumbu Valley on the trail to Mt. Everest. The main peak is 22,349 feet. Ama Dablam means "Mother and Pearl Necklace" - the perennial hanging glacier is thought of as the pearl.
