This pair of camera friendly camels lives at Wildlife Safari, a drive-through wild animal park outside Winston, Oregon. The 600 acre park is home to over 500 free-roaming animals. Its rolling hills, meadows, ponds, streams and temperate climate make it an ideal place for these exotic creatures. Camels are critical to African and Asian nomadic groups as beasts of burden carrying heavy loads for days without food or water. Many people also rely on them for meat and milk.
