In June of 2005 my climbing partner and I made our second ascent of Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Denali National Park, Alaska. We traveled through the night on our descent from the 14,000 foot camp on Denali all the way to the base camp air strip on Kahiltna Glacier. The midnight setting sun cast an amazing alpenglow on Mt. Foraker.
