In this shot low level light brings the yellowing Aspens to life like a fire racing up the hills. This is the Dallas Divide in the Sneffels Range of the San Juan Mountains in the southwestern area of the state. The Dallas Divide is a 8,970 foot mountain pass which links the towns of Ridgway and Telluride.
