Canopy Stock Image Poipu, Hawaii

This is an image of a large rain forest tree that I took in Poipu, Kauai. It is a digital black and white negative taken from a color photo. I took the image at night when the tree was illuminated with tiki torches. This made for a surreal and almost icy creation of branches and lacy foliage.
