Where The Green Fern Grows Stock Image, Zion, Utah
Deep in the Virgin River Narrows in Zion National Park one can find this wall of maiden hair ferns. Backlit by reflected light, the ferns give off a positively unreal green luminosity. I braced my tripod in knee deep rapids to get in position to best capture the glow of the ferns.
