Reaching Fall Creek, a tributary to the North Umpqua River in Southern Oregon, is an easy hike from Highway 138. The trail beside the creek passes through narrow crevices in large rocks. Unique volcanic columnar rock formations and scenic streamside views abound along the way to the falls. The temperate rain forest allows moss and ferns to flourish year around.
