Autumn Emerging Stock Image, Rogue River, Oregon

Light is critical for good photography. So when I saw this bright autumn foliage emerging from the deep forest shadows in the Union Creek area of the Cascade Mountains of Southern Oregon, I had to stop my car and take some shots. I was especially attracted to the spectrum of color on these Vine Maple trees.
