Aspens are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. The vivid bark patterns and tightly spaced growth are nature’s lure for me. These trees, on a clear fall day in Colorado, show off their bright yellow foliage against an azure sky. Aiming my camera up through the boughs gives a perspective and vantage point that we sometimes miss.
