Aspens are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. The vivid bark patterns and tightly spaced growth are nature’s lure for me. These trees, on a late fall day in Telluride, Colorado put on a spectaclur show of color that looked like vibrant orange and yellow waves washing down from the mountain above.
