The Kahiltna River flows in twists and turns like a giant braid over vast Alaskan territory. This shot was taken from a glacier plane flight from Talkeetna to the Kahiltna Glacier in Denali National Park in 2005. The vast blue waterway and verdant green land painted an abstract below. Fishing and gold mining bring many tourists to this area each year.
