Going to the dark side of the river on one of many suspension bridges in the steep and narrow Dudh Kosi River Gorge in the Mt. Everest Region of Nepal. I took this photo while trekking between Lukla and Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar, at over 11,000 feet, is the main trading center in the Kumbu Region and gateway to the Himalayas. It is common to see Nepalese carrying these heavy loads on sometimes narrow and treacherous trails.
