This massive tear in the earth is Buck Canyon in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Canyonlands National Park is 527 square miles of wilderness. The park is situated in the Colorado Plateau and is separated by the carving action of the Colorado and Green Rivers. This is one of the least developed National Parks and one of the most awe inspiring to photograph. Changing light and shadow make for incredible color variations and patterns.
