The majestic Canada Goose is reflected in the lower duck pond in Ashland, Oregon’s beautiful Lithia Park. The bright spring foliage and blossoms provide a tapestry background for this handsome pair who have found refuge on a vacant rock. Large flocks of these geese can be seen in parks, fields, waterways and marsh in the Ashland area most of the year. While normally migratory, Canada Geese have found permanent homes in many areas of the Northwest.
