Sunrise image from the Cactus Garden in Joshua Tree. Nothing else I have photographed interacts with light quite the way these do. Light this extreme made for very challenging shooting and developing. In less than one minute I took several different exposures at two different focus points. Developing required manually blending the right parts of all those images into the final piece.
