After a two hour search for just the right tree with a view that wasn’t blocked by Aspen trunks, I found this perfect conifer adorned with golden Aspen leaves. The scene reminded me of the aftermath of a parade with confetti-strewn everywhere. The Aspens, with their spotted bark finery, were the bystanders and confetti throwers. The photo was taken in the Elk Mountain Range, Colorado.
