Crater Lake National Park in Oregon draws visitors from all over the world. The lake which was formed in the volcanic caldera of Mt. Mazama is the deepest in the United States at 1,949 feet. It is solely fed by rain and snowfall. A rim road circles the lake and gives viewers spectacular vistas of the serene and crystal clear lake and the surrounding volcanic rock faces.
