The Elizabethan Theatre looms over the lower duck pond in Lithia Park, Ashland, Oregon. The theatre is one of three at the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Brilliant color abounds in Lithia Park in the fall due to the hundreds of species of trees found there. The park covers 93 acres and includes magnificent gardens, picnic areas and miles of hiking trails. It was designed by John McLaren, landscape architect of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
