Northwest by Southwest Stock Image, Eastern Oregon

You find the darnedest things way out in the canyons of Eastern Oregon, like this eroded formation Zack Schnepf and I stumbled across about 20 miles past the last paved road. After another couple miles of scrambling through gullies filled with sage and tumble weed. we thought we had taken a wrong turn and ended up in Utah.
