Even though it was challenging to get to, this waterfall scene became very popular with landscape photographers in the northwest because…well just look at it. I visited several years ago but never did anything with this photo because there were already so many really good photos of it, even back then. Unfortunately, it isn’t going to look like this again for a long time because it burned up in the Gorge Fire. Maybe many years from now I’ll get a chance to photograph it like this again, although I probably will be too old to pull off the hike by then.
