It’s no secret that I love the Rogue River, especially the upper portion where it springs fully formed out of the side of Crater Lake and then cuts its way out of the mountains into the Rogue Valley. On one of my annual fall outings near Natural Bridge I was looking for an interesting foreground that wasn’t the river itself. It took some tripod wrangling, but finding the reflection of the one tree in this small rock pool made my day.
