Upon A Time Stock Image, Gold Hill, Oregon

This scene, reminiscent of bygone days, is the location of the Martin Sylvester Wood House near Eagle Point, Oregon. Mr. Wood, a Civil War veteran, built the house in 1870. One of the oldest structures in Oregon, it has been lovingly maintained by the Eagle Point Historical Society and was deeded to the City of Eagle Point in 2008. I was very fortunate to capture this image on an early morning of amazing clouds with sunrise fringing them in a scarlet glow. The old flatbed truck and rustic farm equipment create a photo caught in a time warp. Mt. McLoughlin can be seen to the east
