On Monday, January 8, Ashland Artisan Gallery opens to the public. Located at 163 East Main, right across the street from the Varsity Theater, Ashland’s newest and most exciting gallery features the work of a hand selected group of talented local artists brought together by oil painter and owner, Denise Baxter. I am very excited and honored to be part of this group. Many people who receive my newsletter do not live in southern Oregon, but everyone, near and far, is invited to stop by the gallery and say hi anytime you are in the area.
In addition to permanently exhibiting and selling my photography in Ashland Artisan Gallery, I’m also a working member and will be available to meet with customers on Monday afternoons and at other times by appointment. It will be really nice to have a permanent location to exhibit my photos in Ashland.
In addition to Denise’s paintings and my photography, the gallery features woodwork, custom furniture, metalwork, jewelry, stained glass, mosaics, custom designed throws, watercolors and much more. Ashland Artisan Gallery has beautiful, masterfully crafted and locally produced art with enough variety to match any fine home or special occasion. Adding to the experience of visiting Ashland Artisan Gallery is the fact that it is entirely staffed by members, so customers will always have the opportunity to meet the artists. The gallery will also be part of the First Friday Art Walks and will host other events including art classes on Sunday mornings. I look forward to seeing you there!
