In A Crisis, The Small Things Make A Difference

March 24, 2020 by Sean Bagshaw Leave a Comment

Greetings! As the coronavirus pandemic worsens, I hope you are OK. I am saddened by these challenging times, which are really just starting. Whether it will be illness, loss of work, isolation, mental health or other impacts yet to be known, we are all going to be hurt by this. But some will hurt more than others. It is more important than ever for us to work together, look out for one another and help each other. For that reason, Jennifer Bagshaw and I are pledging 25% of the income from my photography tutorials during the crisis to the Oregon Community Foundation and other organizations that will be able to best support people in need. My friend Tony Kuyper is doing the same. It isn't much but it’s one thing we can do, and we will look for other ways to do more. More than just the money, I'm sharing the sentiment in hopes it will add to a spirit of giving, loving and helping which will swell in the days and months to come. We all have different circumstances and different capacities to help. Some of us will need more help than we can give. But, if you can, please help in whatever way you are able. All the small things will make a difference. I give my thanks to all who are and will be helping...especially our healthcare heroes. May you be safe, may you be healthy, may you be well.
