I was fortunate enough to explore the southwestern Irish coastline alongside Norm McCloskey on this fine morning. He is a highly accomplished photographer who considers this area his 'home base', and has printed many gorgeous books of the region. This shot is out on the Beara Peninsula. The geologic formations and layers had me wishing the rocks could talk, as the history they have witnessed is complex and breathtaking.
