Majestic Mt. McLoughlin rises over this snow covered mountain meadow along Dead Indian Memorial Hwy. near Ashland, Oregon. The natural springs flowing through the meadow are warm enough to keep the snow from building up but not enough to keep the 13 degree morning from creating frost formations on the surface.
