At over 14,000 feet, Mt. Tyndall is one of the highest peaks in the Sierra Range of California. Mt. Tyndall is north of Mt. Whitney and within the borders of Sequoia National Park. Rocks, alpine lakes and very little plant life are typical of the Sierra high country. On this day billowing clouds cap the mountains and cast shadows on the landscape below.
